NEA Higher Ed on Capitol Hill


The PROSPER Act, introduced to Congress in late November, aims to replace the federal Higher Education Act (HEA). NEA opposes much of what's in the act, including the elimination of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program, limits on federal borrowing for families, and the revocation of regulations for for-profit colleges.
