Statement from NEA President Dennis Van Roekel

WASHINGTON - April 11, 2014 -

“NEA’s history with Secretary Sebelius goes back a long time to the days when she was Kansas Governor and when she served as the chair of the Education Commission of the States and as the Kansas insurance commissioner. She has always been a great friend of education and students, she was an asset to the administration and a champion of providing healthcare to all Americans. We thank her for her service and look forward to working with her again in the future.”
